POLICE
Kingston Springs offers a special proactive, community approach to police services with its Public Safety Department. Officers are cross-trained and certified to respond to fire and medical emergencies as well as police functions. The department now offers coverage 7 days a week. The department networks with the Metro Nashville Police Department for computer links to crime information. This department is the recipient of two federal COPS grant awards. Speed limits are radar enforced. The Public Safety Offices are located on North Main in downtown Kingston Springs, adjacent to the City Hall Complex. The Cheatham County Sheriff's Department also offers patrol and police services and is reached through 911 for emergencies or (615)-792-2098 for non-emergency calls. Kingston Springs also enjoys the presence of the Tennessee Highway Patrol which has an office at the Public Safety Department Building in Kingston Springs.
