City-Wide Yard Sale Saturday, May 3rd is the 10th Annual City-Wide Yard Sale in Kingston Springs. Whether you are a shopper or a seller, this event is always great fun! It's an opportunity to meet your new neighbors and see old friends. Sellers experience a huge success. It attracts hundreds upon hundreds of shoppers. Plan now to set up a yard sale in your front yard or garage. There is no charge to participate. Extensive advertising across several counties and several state-wide listings bring shoppers from over 100 miles away. The advertising is paid for by The Town of Kingston Springs. The Town also provides free maps to shoppers, available at area businesses around town. This year, the map will also be posted online. There will be a new map this year that actually shows the location of each sale in the city on the map along with the address list. When your sale is complete, you can take everything that is left to the Goodwill Truck that will be located at the Middle School parking lot, near Fire Station #2. If you would like to have your sale listed on the map, please call city hall at 952-2110, ext. 10 during business hours and leave your name, address and phone number. (The phone number is for office use and will not be listed on the map.) The latest to list your sale is NOON on Monday, April 28th. |
